So far...so good Review by Bob
Shipping was fast. Saddle and post missing, but resolved fast. Assembly instructions non-existent, but mostly pre-assembled. I got it together fairly quickly, but couldn't ride it until I bought a presta pump to inflate the tires.
So much for the seller; how about the bike? First of all, I'm only an occassional recreational rider, so can't comment on quality/durability of components. Time will tell. One caveat. The C-1 is advertised as having a 22-32-42 chain ring. It actually has a 28-38-48. This doesn't matter much to me, but if you do a lot of hill climbing or biking against stiff winds, the half-step difference in the lowest gear might be important. All else seems to be as advertised. Adjusting the brakes and derailleurs was a learning experience, and the front derailleur is still a work in progress. I've only ridden about 50 miles or less in the four mionths I've had the bike, all on poorly maintained city streets. The aluminum frame makes for a relatively harsh ride. The seat post and fork shocks help a little, as does the Goldilocks (not to hard...not too soft) saddle. The upside of the stiff aluminum frame is great response when applying power and agile handling. A worthwhile trade-off. With all aluminum construction, quick release front and rear wheels, quick release saddle, and powerful V-pull brakes, this a lot of bike for the money. It suits my needs for running to the bank, library, supermarket, etc. The C-1 is a good bike. I'd buy it again without hesitation.

Nice bike for the price Review by NMcCoy
I just got this bike a few days ago, and I must say that I am impressed with the overall quality of the bike when compared to the price. Although this isn't a super high end bike, the frame is well built and the ride is smooth. The components are your run of the mill entry level bike parts (Shimano Tourney) but they get the job done, and you can always upgrade the parts later as you get more serious about the sport. The assembly was very simple and self explanatory and the packing was well done with no noticeable scratches or dents to the bike or the frame. A good bike at a fair price. (Posted on 4/2/12)

Smooth ride Review by Carmelo
My wife bought this bike for me as a belated Christmas present (we were vacationing in the Caribbean during the holidays), and I am pleased with the smooth ride and attractive looks of the bike. I have to mention that the bike was shipped with a piece of equipment that was not part of the original equipment advertised. After speaking to the staff at the store (Lenny/Josh), the issue was quickly resolved to my satisfaction. The customer service that I received was in a word, “extraordinary”. These two young men treated me with courtesy, respect and concern throughout the entire time we discussed this matter. They are a credit to their organization and they are fortunate to have them, especially in this day and time when American companies have forgotten what customer service should be.
