I purchased this bike about 1 month ago and it came to me almost totally assembled. Right away I noticed that this commuter was although small in stature; big in quality. I am a fairly big guy at 6' 3" and 220 lbs. in my 50’s. I thought, "gosh, is this little bike gonna hold me up?" Well, no problem. After adjusting the brakes, handle bars and seat; Surprise! Off I went. I might look a bit funny to some, but hey, this bike fits in most car trunks easily and works just fine. I did not know if I could ever even ride a bike again since I have MS, but now glad to find out that I can. Now; I did take this to the local bike shop for a quick, (less than 15 min.) adjustment of the brakes, gears and handle bar height. I also added a new seat since my rump was not used to such a small saddle. I purchased the Schwinn seat; http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000DZF6WO/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00 which seems to work just fine.
If space is a problem and you don’t want to opt for a folding bike, which I’ve heard are mostly rubbish; then I recommend this one for sure! Now that I can ride a bike again, I do intend to purchase a larger hybrid bike for longer trips from Road Bike Outlet. I only had a few questions before I ordered this bike and they were always quite courteous and helpful.
